UKM Pesta Tanglung day-2

Yesterday was the second day of UKM Pesta Tanglung. The shows were different from the first day but the songs I played were the same.

After our rehearsal at 6pm, we were free to walk around. Because I was a performer, I got a new sim card from Maxis. It was Maxis youthclub plan, 12 sen per minute to Maxis & 15 sen per minute to other networks while 1 sen per sms to Maxis & 5 sen per sms to other networks. Wasn’t the rate cool? Well, that wasn’t all, the number I chose was beautiful too – 017-8865859. Now I have no worries to chat with my Digi friends. My current number I’ll be keeping it till my birthday next year – 28/02/10 for free calls on that day. After that I’ll discard it. But now I’m still using this number till further information.

When I was writing the other blog yesterday, I saw my ex-English teacher, Cristy Lau from UKM, her messenger personal message written that she had a stall at the Hokkien Association. So I went to find her but after walking few rounds, and found nothing about her, I gave up.

Yesterday my performance was very success. Thanks to my friends who came. They were Clarence, Ling Han, Kok Chuan & finally Qiyuan, who came after my dinner. That time my performance had already ended long time ago. Thanks to my parents who came to support us (my 2 brothers & me). I had my dinner outside with my friends. Although Kok Chuan’s driving were a little too dangerous but he could drove steadily.

Later 2pm this afternoon all L&H performers will be gathering at L&H to celebrate our success. Special thanks to Miss Lee who gives me this opportunity to perform although she is not my violin teacher but my theory teacher. Thanks to her again for lending me for violin bow because my bow isn’t that good anymore. Thanks to Christine too who borrowed me a tie from her friend. It was a very beautiful tie. Finally, many thanks to Chun Yan, who was the first to wish me good luck on my first night of performance although he can’t manage to come.

UKM Pesta Tanglung

After practicing for the past few weeks, finally today is the day-11/09/09. Today is the day my brothers & the other pianists & I are going to perform at The Kajang Hokkien Association for UKM Pesta Tanglung. Today after school got bio extra class till 2pm but I went back at 12.30 because 4.30pm I had to arrive at the Hokkien Association there to rehearse.  There were so many things to see & many things to eat, of course had to pay la. Later I saw Cristy Lau’s msn personal message said she got a stall there but I didn’t had the time to find her. Hope tomorrow performance can find her. At around 6pm, MyFM Myvi SE特攻队 came. I got some gifts from them too. I also got gifts from Hotlink too! Overall tonight’s performance was very successful, just that when I was playing my violin I hit the mic because it was too near. Haha… Hope tomorrow night my friends will come. Looking forwards to see you guys!

I'll never forget you.

Today I felt very sad. My tortoise died this morning after suffering from the same disease as the other tortoise who had died 6 months ago for over a month.

To my beloved tortoise:

as beautiful as a gem.
Today you left me,
to join your friend,
who died 6 months ago,
but I'll never forget you both.

悄悄的我走了, 正如我悄悄的来, 我挥一挥衣袖, 不带走一片云彩。

Today chemistry exam I only know my ex-tuition teacher gave his students tips on what topic should they read. Because of H1N1, my dad don't let me attend tuition classes anymore, not even Sunday church. How come nobody tell me about the tips? There are so accurate! Later I ask my friend to tell me any tips if they have. He thought I knew already about the chemistry tips because he didn't realise I had been absent for the past few lessons . Not just him alone, even some other people also didn't realise my absent & nobody cares to ask what happened!

 

Now I only know that my present & absent will not affect much on your life. I don't mean anything to you. I'm worthless in your life......
