Not again...

AH! not again! This morning at round 8.30am, there was another 'earthquake' in my house. This time it happened in the master room. Almost the whole room tiles were broken!

It almost hit my computer!

 

'War' in my room

This morning about 8am i was waken up by the cracking sound of my room tiles. Oh my God! look at these pictures.this is after the broken tiles have been taken out.

Actually this wasn't the firstly time the tiles broken. The first time happened two years ago. When i first heard the sound of the breaking of tiles, i thought something large & heavy dropped onto the floor. It looked like something wanted to come up from the undernead of the floor. So scary! So now my room is like a mess. Just like World War 3 in Semenyih. Everywhere is a mess. Thanks to Metro Kajang holding for building such houses. Many of my neighbours also having this same problem, not just my house. Just hope that it will not happen anymore but i think most likely there will be a third time since there is a second time.

My dengue nightmare

 This Monday morning when I  was having my add maths paper  1 exam, I found that there were many red spots on the back of my palm. After school I went to see doctor.  That time the red spots had reduced. The doctor told my dad to take me to have a blood test to confirm whether I was down with dengue or not since there were many red spots all over my body.

After confirming that I’m positive with dengue fever, the doctor told me I had to stay in the hospital. I was very afraid that time to stay in the hospital alone. This is my  second time staying in the hospital. The first time was when I was below 1 year old. I had viral fewer.

The life in hospital was no good at all. I had to carry around the sodium chloride water bag wherever I go. It made my bathing hard because I can only use 1 hand to bath & do other things. My bed was small & the room only had fans no air-cond. It was noisy too because many people staying with me in the same room. The foods were no problem, quite satisfying but the coffee was too sweet  & doesn’t taste like the coffee I usually made at home.

Anyway, I was disappointed with my friends because the hospital was just behind my school but none of my friend came to visit me. I cannot blame them because to them, study is more important than friends.

After 3 days staying in hospital, the doctor told me that I can be discharged already although my platelets count was still very low. Just hope that you all will take care of yourself. Don’t get bitten by Aedes mosquito.

Konsert Kebudayaan

 

Last Saturday my school had a performance. I dunno what they call it in English but Malay they call it Malam Kebudayaan or Konsert Kebudayaan. The performance started at 7.30pm & I arrived at 6.45pm. At that very moment, I started thinking back how fun was the concert I performed last year. Too bad this year I can't perform anymore because I joined computer club now. Haiz... wish I still can perform in school 1 day...

The performance last Saturday was quite nice, although the students screamed when they turned off the lights in the hall. I thought that night I'll be sitting with my classmates but no. I sat with that guy who asked me to come that day.

Sun may save sight

Australian researchers believe that sunshine may prevent children from becoming short-sighted. A comparison of children of Chinese origin living in Singapore & Sydney found the rate of myopia in the Singaporeans was ten times higher. The key difference was that the Sydney kids spent almost four times long outdoors. Researchers say sunlight is the key - it increases dopamine levels which inhibits excessive eye growth, a known myopia cause. Study co-author Dr Kathy Rose still recommends sunglasses, as they don't seem to stop the dopamine release:"Protecting children's eye from UV is the appropriate thing to do.

The Final Image of my beloved tortoise...

I used to have 2 Indian Star Tortoises (Geochelone Elegans), which was bought in November 2006 after one of my green tortoise escaped. But today one of my Indian Star Tortoise had pass away…L. It had left its friend & all of us as well.

When I bought these Indian Star Tortoises that time, it was only a few months old. Each cost RM90, so total RM180. Now they had grown up but still they are easily get sick…

What is the cause of the death I don’t know. All I know is that since few weeks ago, I separated them into 2 different cages because I noticed that one of them got osteoporosis. Its shell was so soft & its size was so much smaller than the other 1. After I separated them, I noticed that this tortoise doesn’t shit at all, so I don’t think it can last long. Later it was infected with eye disease. It can’t open its eye so it can’t find food to eat. Until this morning when I took it for sun bathing it opened its eye! So I thought it’ll recover soon but at around 4.15pm, it doesn’t move anymore…

What a day....

Today first monthly test started. I’m very disappointed with my add maths. Other subjects still ok.

After school, I walked with my friend to Czip Lee to buy a new calculator because my brother also needs a scientific calculator but they don’t have stock. So we went to Metro Point to eat because my friend wanted to buy a headphone for his computer to call me. Haha, just kidding. But he can’t decide so he didn’t bought it. After our lunch, we chat till 2.45pm then we left.

The cloud started to get darker. Not long after I got into the bus, it started to rain. The cloud was unusually dark. It was like dawn that time.

When I reached my garden, I stopped at Tesco Semenyih but that time it was raining like World War 3. The bus driver can’t open the door cause the wind was too strong. Even the bus was shaking that time. So we waited for a moment for the wind to calm down then he let me dropped off. But still it wa sraining like cats & dogs so a Malay lady, whom came down with me asked my dad to fetch her back since she stayed not far away from my house.

What a day……
